Leisure

Luče is a compact mountain village along the
upper course of the Savinja River, in close
proximity to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

The village is situated at the confluence of the
Savinja and Lučnica rivers, which meet at the
edge of the village and continue their journey
together through the Savinja Valley.

The area is surrounded by forests, offering
opportunities for light, short walks.

Luče also serves as an excellent starting point
for longer excursions and tours into the
Savinja Alps.

Parallel valleys – Podvolovljek, Robanov kot,
Logar Valley, and Matkov kot – captivate every
hiker with their natural beauty.

In the village lies the Snow Cave, the highest tourist
cave in Slovenia and one of the highest in Europe.

It is only open during the summer months.

The Savinja River, one of the most beautiful Alpine rivers
with significant elevation changes, numerous rapids, pools,
and a clean river teeming with fauna, winds past the house.

It is suitable for fly fishing, kayaking, or rafting.
In the summer months, it is particularly refreshing
for swimming and therapeutic for wading.

In the vicinity, there are high-altitude farms that
you can visit and sample their products.
You can also visit local artisans and
creators in their workshops and studios.

We will be happy to advise you on
planning your trips.
